INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

  • International shipments are normally shipped by US Postal Service Surface Parcel Post. By this method, shipments take 4 to 7 weeks in transit. When applicable, perishable items are sent separately by Air Mail. Express shipments are normally shipped by Air Parcel Post. Shipping by air normally takes 4 to 10 days.
  • Determining the customs regulations and applicable laws regarding homebrewing and winemaking for any country is the responsibility of the customer. Sorry, but we do not keep this information on file.
  • Please be sure to include your phone number (and FAX number, if you have one) with all orders and correspondence. Also, feel free to call, fax, or E-mail us with any questions you may have. We want to help you succeed in making beer and wine!

    FOR JAPANESE CUSTOMERS

  • Due to Customs regulations and costs for import clearings, we suggest you ask us to ship any orders by Air Mail or Surface mail. Using Nippon Express for shipments to Japan would probably be faster, but could cost more in import charges and Customs taxes. (See here for Nippon Express rates.) We ship your order within 48 hours of receipt. Nippon Express shipments arrive in Japan in about 3 days; Air mail, about 1 week; Surface mail, 4 to 5 weeks. Allow approximately 4 days for your shipment to clear Customs.
  • Our catalog is made for our domestic market, and due to Japanese Customs regulations, a few of our catalog items cannot be sent to you at this time. We will notify you in case of any problems with your order.
  • Japanese regulations allow individuals to import and posses a Mini Brewery, and to brew beer with alcohol under 1%. We can provide you instructions for that lower content on request.

    INTERNATIONAL SURFACE AND AIR PARCEL POST RATES (IN US$)

    Note: The rates for standard Surface Parcel Post apply to all countries except Canada, Mexico, and countries in Central America or the Caribbean Islands. Air rates are calculated for Japan, but represent a good estimate of shipping charges to other countries. Shipping, Handling and Insurance will be charged to the customer upon shipment of the order.
